Envision and Improving primary healthcare.

The project.
This project is the result of a challenge that was proposed during a job interview. The briefing was about Envisioning and Improving Primary Healthcare.
The US healthcare system faces a significant shortage and inequitable distribution in the primary care workforce.
My research, which was conducted in a short amount of time and was based on the above statement, resulted in a brief discovery process to guarantee that the relevant questions were asked.
What is primary healthcare?
This question would allow me to be sure that my idea of primary healthcare was correct, and I could move on from there.
I have narrowed myself to ask five questions in order to have a better understanding of the problem or aspects of it.
- How is primary care distributed on the United States?
- How insurance defines access?
- What physicians are available in the primary care?
- What is the cause of primary care physician shortage?
- How is it being addressed?
Once these questions were answered, I focused my target to one.
How can we address the primary care shortage in the US rural communities through telehealth?
These layouts are the outcome of my research, which also included a light benchmark, user journey, personas, wireframes and a prototype.

Results.
The desired outcome was to have an idea for a solution that could make people's life easier by linking them to their doctors or medical services by reaching into their pocket and utilizing their smartphone, or eventually any type of device, combined with an appealing design and good usability.
My focus was solely on displaying a few simple tasks, such as scheduling an appointment or viewing and downloading exams. The growth potential of a healthcare product is huge, and it has the ability to reach a whole new level of complexity.
